OUR STANDARDS

We kindly ask you to read the texts below carefully, in order to avoid possible misunderstandings and problems arising from them. The Protocol, General Terms and Conditions and Data Security Statement are an integral part of the D&D Ltd. price list and the basis of commercial relationship. The notes stated in the Protocol concerning the doctors of medicine’s field of activity are the need of the technique for preparation procedures with which we cannot achieve the outcome presented on this site.

1. PROTOCOL

Step 1: Therapy planning

Every therapy planning begins with a consultation with the dental laboratory in order to most effectively determine the material and technique for the prostethic work with regard to the indication of the problem. In the phase of therapy preparation and planning, it is necessary to make a portrait and intraoral photography that will be the basis of the case analysis, as well as to create the study models before starting the therapy itself.

Step 2: Wax up and Mock up

Wax up should be made on study models, according to the agreed therapy. Based on a wax up, a mock up transfer of the new situation will be made using a silicone key in the mouth. Mock up will give the most realistic representation of the face appearance with scheduled work after the end of therapy, before any preparation begins. Mock up will not be possible in situations when the existing teeth need to be shortened, reduced or pushed inside so the planning will be done without it.

Step 3: Tooth preparation and impression

It is recommended to prepare the teeth in the clinic over the existing mock up or using the silicone keys made on a wax up model in order to control the intervention on all surfaces. It is necessary to polish the prepared tooth before the impression in order to prevent deformation in the impression and enable the production of a usable model with all relevant data.

Step 4: Construction Try-in

During the metal, zirconium dioxide or lithium disilicate construction try-in, the placement/fit of the construction on the margins of the preparation will be checked.

Step 5: Colour Assessment/Shade Matching

The dental technician assesses the tooth colour in order to collect enough data that enable the right selection of materials and technology to reproduce the natural tooth as perfectly as possible.

Step 6: Ceramics try-in

The patient, doctor of dental medicine and dental technician agree the last fine shape and colour corrections, if necessary, at the ceramics try-in.

Step 7: Work Handover

The ceramics fitting and possible corrections will be followed by the work handover. By accepting the delivered work, doctor of dental medicine confirms the correctness of the subject work and thus the dental technician’s work is deemed completed.
